Nokia G11 Plus with 6.5″ 90Hz screen released in India for ₹12,499

Nokia has silently introduced the mid range-level Android smartphone in India called the Nokia G11 Plus. The handset has a waterdrop notch display that offers 90Hz refresh rate, 50-megapixel rear cameras, and Unisoc chipset. 

Featuring a Nordic design, the Nokia G11 Plus sports a 6.5-inch HD+ v-notch screen that offers 720 x 1600 pixels of resolution at 90Hz refresh rate. Inside, there is a Unisoc 1.6GHz T606 SoC octa-core processor, paired up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable using micro SD card slot support. It naturally runs Android 12 OS out of the box. HMD Global promises at least up to two years of software upgrades and three years of security updates for this device.

The Nokia G11 Plus comes with dual cameras on back side – a 50MP main camera, 2 MP secondary depth sensor, while there is an 8-meapixel camera in tear drop notch on the front side of the device, and features side-facing fingerprint reader for the biometric purpose.

It offers connectivity features such as Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C, and the entire device gets backed up by a massive 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging and it lasts up to 3 days on a single charge. The G11 Plus measures 164.8 x 75.9 x 8.5mm, and weighs around 192 grams.

The Nokia G11 Plus is priced at ₹12,499 (~$151). It is listed for purchase on Nokia India’s website and other retail websites, and local stores across the country in three colors like Lake Blue and Charcoal Grey colours.
