The new Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone is officially official now and it can be treated as the best product in the Windows Phone category. A set of high-end smartphone have been launched at today’s CES event, including HTC Titan II, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, Lenovo S2, Huawei Ascend P1 S, Huawei Ascend P1, Samsung Exhilarate, Sony Xperia ion, Sony Xperia S and more. I wanted to make a specs comparison of the 2 flagship handsets Nokia Lumia 900 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus representing 2 smartphone platforms.

Nokia Lumia 900 born for the U.S., and it is an upgraded version of the Nokia Lumia 800 phone and it is a much more complete and well-thought-out smartphone. Lumia 900 runs Microsoft’s refreshing Windows Phone ‘Mango’ (v7.5) platform, featuring 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack crystal clear display with 800 by 480 pixels of resolution, powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200 processor, an 8-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash, a larger f2.2/28mm aperture, 720p HD video recording capability, 1MP wide angle front-facing camera with f2.4 lens, 512 MB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage, SkyDrive cloud storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5 mm headset jack, 50Mbps download speeds on 4G  LTE network, 21Mbps HSPA+ download speeds, a powerful 1,830mAh battery 7 hours talk-time. The Nokia Lumia 900 allows data downloads up to 50Mbps on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with with its buttonless design, sporting a high resolution 720p display measuring 4.65-inches delivering 1280×720 resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage (with no microSD slot). The front camera can take photos at 1.3MP and video at 720p, while the rear camera is a 5MP shooter with LED flash, and can record full 1080p video. Additional regular features are including 4G LTE capability, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS, digital compass, a barometer, Android beam with NFC, Face Unlock, Mobile Hotspot support for up to 10 4G/3G devices, 1850mAh battery, 12 hours of battery life and much more.
