Nokia T7-00 Spotted Running Symbian Anna; Smaller Version Of Nokia N8

We all know that Nokia has joined with Microsoft and that the Finnish mobile manufacturer will make the Windows Phone platform the primary operating system for its smartphone devices and gearing up to bring Nokia Windows Phones running with the newly unveiled Windows Phone 7 ‘Mango’ OS, later this year. This will not let Nokia from releasing some of the already rumored Symbian-based handsets and the Nokia T7-00 will be one of them, which has been teasing us and leaking online since a few months. Nokia T7-00 handset has leaked afresh again hinting us that the phone indeed is set to to launch very soon with the latest Symbian Anna OS flavor pre-installed in it.

According to the latest leak, Nokia T7-00 is expected to release as the cheaper version of the high-end spec’d Nokia N8 handset, packing the same measurements and weighing at the same size that of Nokia N8 but they differ slightly in terms of the specifications.

Instead of the 12 megapixel camera, Nokia T7-00 will be equipped with an 8 megapixel camera around its back, and it will also have an LED flash. Dimension wise, it will measure as 113.5 x 59 x 12.8mm and weighing 135 grams, while Nokia N8’s dimensions are also same: 113.5 x 59 x 12.8mm, 135g. The big change in Nokia T7 is – it won’t be having HDMI port. Nokia N8 is having Symbian^3 OS, but the Nokia T7-00 will be shipped with Symbian Anna OS, and sporting the display with 640 x 360 pixels. All the remaining specification will be same as that of the Nokia N8.

Nokia T7-00 has recently hit the FCC, and according to the FCC terms, it is set to hit the China markets with the support for China Mobile’s 3G TD-SCDMA network.
