Nothing Ear 2 Buds first press renders leaked

Over the past few years, most of the smartphone manufacturers have started launching some of their own wireless buds products. Nothing made a grand entry into the tech world with its Ear 1 Buds in 2021, and we may see a new pair from the company very soon.

Nothing’s Ear (1) wireless earbuds impressed many consumers with their overall audio quality. Now, it appears that the next iteration to the previous-generation buds is just around the corner, evident from the latest leak coming our way.

The prolific leakster Onleaks collaborated with SmartPrix and published the first set of official press renders (in high-res) of the upcoming Nothing Ear 2 Buds. As can be seen in the images, the Ear 2 Buds looking essentially the same as the previous-gen Ear 1 Buds with a few differences here and there.

What’s New in Nothing Ear 2 Buds

The placement of the noise-canceling microphone has been moved to another spot compared to the previous gen Ear (1) Buds. As per the source, the Nothing Ear Buds 2 will arrive with Personalized ANC, which will let you set the level of noise cancellation as per your preference. The new pair will also have a Transparency Mode, and support Dual Connectivity which means it can connect with two devices simultaneously, and you can switch the connection between them accordingly. The manufacturer has also added support for Advanced EQ with custom settings and the Find Earbuds Feature.

There is no word yet on the launch date and the price about the Nothing Ear (2) Buds. A few hours ago, Nothing’s founder Carl Pei has confirmed that the next-gen Nothing Phone (2) will be launching later this year, and the company will be targeting the US markets specifically. He said “We’re developing a smartphone that’s more premium than the Nothing Phone (1) and software will be a big focus area for us.” In fact, Nothing sells its TWS buds in the US for a third of all sales, and Pei believes this as a sign that the Phone (2) will see a similar success in the US market.
