Olympus SZ-30MR camera is having a 3.0″ high-resolution LCD with 460k dots, a 16MP backside-illuminated CMOS sensor with 24x (25-600mm) optical zoom, and supports the 3D technology, as it can shoot 3D photos as well.
Olympus SZ-30MR has a Dual Engine TruePic III+ image processor and it is the first one to shoot Full 1080p HD video and 16-megapixel snaps simultaneously or record two movies in different modes or from different angles at the same time. The “MR” suffix stands for “Multi Recording”, and basically means that while you’re shooting 1080p HD video on the SZ-30MR, you can also shoot still images as well. It is having wireless SD card support, you don’t have to connect the camera to a PC to share photos or other content.
Olympus SZ-30MR is sporting HDMI out, high ISO and sensor-based mechanical image stabilization; smart panorama, 3D photo, pet detection, and beauty modes; and SDXC and Eye-Fi card compatibility, i-Auto mode and face and pet detection, Olympus Magic Filters, AF tracking, low-light shooting and high-speed burst at 9 fps. The ISO range is 80 to 3200, and support SDXC memory cards.
You can also choose to shoot one HD movie and one lower resolution one, or combine and match the final appearance by engaging different filters. You can even snap some movie footage from a still picture, as it will automatically record footage before and after you snap your loving photo.
