Along with the global version of the OnePlus 11, and the OnePlus Pad tablet, the Chinese manufacturer has also announced the latest OnePlus 11R 5G handset for the global markets. It is the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2, which was launched earlier this morning in China. The OnePlus 11R 5G arrives as the successor to the previous gen’s OnePlus 10R with significant upgrades.
OnePlus has skipped the “Pro” version for this year’s lineup. The OnePlus 11R 5G comes with a 6.74-inch 120Hz curved AMOELD screen with soft curves on each side. The display has an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,450 nits peak brightness, an integrated fingerprint scanner, and HDR10+ support. The alert slider made a comeback on this model, which was missing on the predecessor.
Inside, the OnePlus 11R 5G has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, joining with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. It also has an eight-channel VC cooling system for heat dissipation. The device comes packing in a 5,000mAh internal battery, without wireless charging ability. But, it has support for 100W superfast charging speeds via an in-the-box power brick. The device naturally boots Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 skinned on the top.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus 11R 5G features an OnePlus 11 inspired circular camera module on the back side. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper.
The OnePlus 11R 5G will be available to purchase in Sonic Black and Galactic Silver colour options. It is priced at ₹39,999 for the 8++128GB model, and ₹44,999 for the 16GB + 256GB configurations. The device is up for pre-orders starting February 21, with open sales beginning from February 28th in India.
