OnePlus Pad unveiled as OnePlus’s first Android Tablet with Dimensity 9000, 12GB RAM

  

After 9 long years of making impressive Android phones, OnePlus has finally become the latest challenger to enter the tablet battle, unveiling its first-ever Android tablet called, the OnePlus Pad, at the global event in New Delhi, India. The tab comes with a 2.5D curved metal unibody design for a comfortable grip. It measures 6.54mm thick, and weighs 552 grams. At the same event, the manufacturer has also announced the global version of the OnePlus 11 handset for India, US, Europe and Middle East countries.

The OnePlus Pad comes with 11.61″ LCD “ReadFit” display with 2800 x 2000 pixels resolution, running at up to 144Hz, 7:5 screen ratio with Dolby Vision/HDR10+ support, 500 nits brightness, and quipped with a fingerprint scanner. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, which is built on a 4nm process, and it has 1 core Cortex-X2 at 3050 MHz, 3 cores Cortex-A710 at 2850 MHz, and 4 cores Cortex-A510 at 1800 MHz. The chipset is combined with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The Pad’s smooth multitasking helps you to run up to 24 apps and working in the background.

   

The OnePlus Pad also supports 5G connectivity. With a cable, the SUPERVOOC charging can fill the OnePlus Pad’s 9,510mAh battery at rates of up to 67W. It can charge up to 90% in a 60-minute charge. The company claims that OnePlus Pad can last up to 1-month in Standby mode. It can last up to full day long, including up to 14.5 hour of video watching.  

For the camera optics, the OnePlus Pad arrives with a 13MP rear camera and there is an 8MP selfie camera on the front. It ships with on Android 13 based on OxygenOS 13 out of the box. Remaining features are including quad speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi 6, Omni-bearing sound field. The tab also comes with auto-connect with OnePlus devices for OTP verification, cellular sharing and rich text messages, file sharing, and more. OnePlus promises seamless connection with your OnePlus device. You get shared notifications, copy and paste between devices, and more.

The tablet will support a OnePlus Stylo and a OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard, and the Stylo (S pen) will ship bundled in the retail box.. OnePlus has not yet revealed how much the OnePlus Pad will cost, but confirmed that pre-orders for the tablet will begin in April for the markets in India, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
