OnePlus Ace 2 to go official on February 7 in China

It is no secret that OnePlus will be hosting a global event in India on February 7, where it will launch its first-ever tablet called OnePlus Pad, alongside the new OnePlus 11R, and the global editions of the OnePlus 11, and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which were recently launched in China. OnePlus’s first ever Keyboard, and the new OnePlus TV Q2 Pro will also grace the event.

OnePlus China is preparing to announce the OnePlus Ace 2 at a separate event in China on the same day. The OnePlus will be the rebranded version of the OnePlus 11R with minor software tweaks. To recall, the OnePlus 10r has launched as OnePlus Ace in last year for the Chinese markets.

As far as design is concerned, the OnePlus Ace 2 will look very much similar to the OnePlus 11, carrying the similar circular camera design on the back, and the same curved display with center-cut punch hole on the front. The Ace 2 is built on a 6.6″ 120HZ AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, running on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, pairing up with Adreno 750 GPU, alongside 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512 gigabytes of UFS 3.1 storage.

For the optics, it has a 50Mp primary camera, along with a couple of more sensors, and a 16MP front camera for handling selfies, as well as video chats. It naturally boots Android 13 based ColorOS 13 UI out of the box. The entire device will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, which has support for 100W fast charging speeds. It’s worth mentioning that OnePlus Ace 2 handset is capable of achieving over 1 million AnTuTu points with this hardware onboard.
