The OnePlus Ace 2V is due to launch on March 7, and we already got an official look at the upcoming handset’s design, and also confirmed that the Dimensity 9000 SoC will be ticking inside the device. Today, some key specifications have been revealed. Thanks to the teasers posters published on social media by OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis, we now have a fair idea of what to expect from the OnePlus Ace 2V.
According to the posters, the OnePlus Ace 2V will have faster LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The base variant will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, that means the Chinese brand confirmed it won’t have an 8GB+128GB configuration model. The poster also confirmed that the device will be sold in 16GB+512GB configuration as well. As of now, we are not sure whether the Ace 2V will be offered in other configurations. To recall, recently launched China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 2 arrived in two different 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB configurations.
On the front, Ace 2 will feature a 6.74” 10-bit AMOLED screen with 2772 x 1240 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, PWM high-frequencly, HDR 10+ and up to 1,450 nits brightness, as well as 1.07 billion colors.
Li Jie claimed that the bezels of the device will be ultra slim, and the back will have sandstone-like and ceramic finishes, similar to the recently launched OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Ace 2 aka OnePlus 11R (being sold in global countries). It measures 8.15mm, and weighs 191.5 grams.
OnePlus also confirmed the Ace 2V supports high frame rates in popular games like “League of Legends” and “Game for Peace”. The device supports 120fps in “League of Legends” and 90fps in “Game for Peace,” providing a near-full frame stable and high frame rate experience.
OnePlus 11 was launched with “Game Cloud Computing Private Network Technology,” which promises to solve network-related problems while playing games and reduce high latency times by almost 44% in weak network environments and 75% in congested online games. OnePlus Ace 2 is also going that similar game cloud computing technology.
In the coming days, the brand will also confirm the camera specs through teaser posters. But, we already it will ship with primary OIS-enabled 64MP lens, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens on the back, and 16MP selfie camera sits on the front.
