First Look at Pixel 7a Official Case Lineup Leaks

Pixel 7a Official Case Lineup

Google’s forthcoming mid-range Pixel smartphone has been the subject of numerous leaks, and the latest reveal gives us a glimpse of the official case lineup for the Pixel 7a.

We’ve already been treated to several leaks of Google’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 7a, which has also shown up on the US Cellular website. Now, as the launch date draws near, we’re getting a glimpse of the official cases that will be available for the phone. Google has prepared multiple styles of cases that will perfectly match the Pixel 7a. While the launch is still a month away, we don’t have to wait to take a sneak peek at these accessories.

WinFuture has shared high-resolution press renders of the Pixel 7a, as well as images of three official case colors. The upcoming smartphone is set to hit stores on May 11 and will be priced starting at $499. The device will be available in three color options – white/silver, gray/black, and a light blue color marketed as “Cotton,” “Carbon,” and “Arctic Blue.”

The range of colors available for the cases matches each of the device’s color options and features color-appropriate power and volume buttons with a muted finish. Additionally, the “G” logo on the back of the case appears to have a metallic finish, which is consistent with the official Pixel 7 case lineup.

The Pixel 7a case lineup marks a departure from the semi-transparent cases of the previous Pixel 6 and 6a models, leading to fewer durability and longevity issues. However, this also means that the official cases for the Pixel 7a are best used with the device they are designed for. While the cases match the colors of the phones, the camera bar can be slightly exposed compared to some third-party Pixel cases, which is a minor drawback.

As for the technical specifications of the Google Pixel 7a, only the previously leaked data is currently available. The device is said to feature a 6.1-inch Full HD display with up to 90Hz maximum refresh rate and an AMOLED panel. It will come with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal flash storage, paired up with Google Tensor G2 chipset. The cameras will be a combination of two 12-megapixel sensors.

While no official information has been revealed about the pricing of the Pixel 7a cases, it’s likely that they will be priced similarly to the official covers available for the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which retail for around $29.99.
