PopCop has finally released its super popular iOS title Plants vs Zombies for Google Android devices now. The Plants vs Zombies game for Android is now available, priced at $2.99. However, Amazon is offering this wildly popular title for free during the first day of availability (May 31st). Plants vs. Zombies is PopCap’s extremely popular tower defense game, which made millions of fans on the PC and various mobile platforms, like the Xbox 360, as well as on the iPhone. It’s a pretty entertaining, and a highly addictive game to say the least. This app is not tablet-optimized yet, although it should run on them. .

There are specific achievements for those players who complete the game on their first try and the quest line can be repeated as many times as the gamer wants. Users should be using an arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants to stop a mob of hungry undead from occupying the users’ homes, by placing different types of plants and fungi, each with their own unique offensive or defensive capabilities.

The primary game mode is a single player and co-op adventure mode. The players can earn money by killing any Zombies and finishing the levels and that money can be used “Crazy Dave” store to buy new seed packets and extra bonuses. This game is also having extra modes that are unlockable, including a survival game with hard or normal mode, a puzzle mode, and a selection of mini-games.

Please note that the game is available only for Android users living in the United States, since the Amazon Appstore is unfortunately only accessible from the States currently. The list of the Android devices that the Plants Vs. Zombies will not run:
