Live Images of Poco F5 Emerge Following NCC & NBTC Certifications

Last year, the Poco F4 made its debut as a genuine flagship contender, delivering everything from an exceptional display to a powerful processor. Despite its somewhat underwhelming cameras, the device carved out a niche for itself. Fast forward to the present, and the Poco F5 is in the pipeline, with a launch anticipated to occur in the second quarter of this year.

In preparation, the Poco F5 smartphone has already obtained NCC and NBTC certifications, with the former even offering a sneak peek at the handset’s live images. Let’s dive deeper into the details.

The Poco F5 has appeared on Indonesia’s NBTC website, bearing the model number 23049PCD8G. As is typical, the authority did not disclose any specific details regarding the handset’s features. Nevertheless, the NCC listing of the smartphone offers a clear view of its design. As evident from the images, the Poco F5 bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Redmi Note 12 Turbo.

The Poco F5 sports a triple camera configuration on the rear, consisting of two large rings and a smaller one. Poco branding is visible at the bottom of the back panel. The front panel is designed with a flat surface and incorporates a selfie camera housed within a punch-hole cutout. The NCC listing also reveals the F5’s charging adapter, suggesting that it will be included with the device. Additionally, the smartphone is listed as featuring a 5,000mAh battery, which should provide ample power for daily use.

The Poco F5 is rumored to showcase a striking 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display, complete with a speedy 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by the potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, complemented by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage to ensure optimal performance and speed.

A triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera is expected to grace the back panel of the device. Additionally, a 16MP selfie camera will be available for users to capture high-quality photos and videos. The Poco F5 is also anticipated to house a sizable 5,000mAh battery, with support for fast charging up to 67W.

The upcoming device is expected to run on the latest Android 13 operating system and weigh in at 181 grams. In terms of other features, the Poco F5 is set to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security, as well as dual speakers, a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6 for a comprehensive and reliable user experience.

Drawing from the most recent certifications and earlier reports, it is evident that the Poco F5 will make its debut in the international market as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes with an array of impressive features, and numerous tech publications consider it a return to the roots of the Redmi brand, showcasing its commitment to delivering high-quality performance and design at an affordable price point. This association bodes well for the Poco F5’s potential to be a strong contender in the global smartphone market.
