Realme is apparently planning on launching its new series of midrange smartphones soon. This is the Realme 10 series, which will include a base and Pro+ variant. This will be one of the major launches of the year for the manufacturer. Ahead of the launch, we have details about the RAM, color, storage options of the vanilla Realme 10 and Realme 10 Pro+ 5G handsets for the Indian market.

The Realme 10 series in India is expected to be upgraded version of the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Pro+ which were launched in back in February 2022. According to the folks over appuals.com, the vanilla Realme 10 variant will be offered in two storage configurations. This will reportedly include a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and top end 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant. Furthermore, it will be sold in two different colors: Clash White and Rush Black.

Moving to the Pro+ variant, the Realme 10 Pro+ is a 5G-ready device. It will apparently ship in three storage configurations including an 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and a 8GB + 256GB variant. The customers can grab the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G by choosing among Hyperspace, Dark Matter and Nebula Blue color options. Realme 10 FCC Database

The base model of the Realme 10 series was recently spotted on Geekbench and FCC databases, carrying the model number RMX3630. According to the listing, the Realme 10 will be powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is pared with a Mali-G57 GPU. It scored 483 points on single-core and 1668 points on multi-core. The vanilla model is expected to be 4G only device and will have a dual rear camera setup, a 5000mAh battery, 33W fast charging and ships with Realme UI based Android OS

On the other side, the Realme 10 Pro+ handset also passed (bearing model number RMX3686) through multiple database certifications agencies such as BIS, with TKDN, NBTC, EEC, and Indonesia Telecom certification databases. According to recent reports, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G model could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset.

Both devices also appeared on TDRA and NBTC certification websites. Both devices will come preloaded with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS. Since the Realme 10 series is set to debut in late 2022 or early next year, we believe the manufacturer will distribute the latest Android 13 update shortly after the launch.
