After more than a month of beta testing, Realme has released rolling out the latest Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 stable update for the GT Neo 2 5G handsets. The Android 13 update for the GT Neo 2 5G comes with firmware version RMX3370_11.F.03. Please note that your GT Neo 2 5G should be running software with version RMX3370_11.C.10 or RMX3370_11.C.11 to receive Realme UI 4.0 update.
The Realme GT Neo 2 with Android v11 was first launched back in late 2021, and later it was upgraded to Android 12 in March 2022. In late December 2022, Realme has opened the beta program for GT Neo2 in the global market, allowing users to get an early taste of the Realme UI 4.0 ahead of this stable release. The full stable Android 13 update is currently being rolling out in China. The rollout is expected to spread to other regions worldwide very soon.
Realme claims that Android 13 Realme UI 4.0 update is currently seeding to 15% of the GT Neo 2 5G handsets, and a broader rollout will commence in a few days if no bugs are found. That means the users who opted for the beta program are first in line to receive the update.
The update weighs around 1.21GB in size, and it brings large folders to Home screen, a new type of Always-On display, Aquamorphic Design theme, optimized UI layers for clearer visual experience, and many more. It optimizes the widget designs, fonts, and system icons.
