Realme GT Neo 5 SE’s JD Listing Confirms Sale Date

Last week, Qualcomm made an official debut of the latest Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, which is all set to energize the forthcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE smartphones. Today, Redmi has revealed the much-awaited launch date for the Note 12 Turbo, while Realme has listed the GT Neo 5 SE on a prominent online retailer in China.

In contrast to Redmi, Realme has not yet revealed the official release date for its Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 powered smartphone. However, the recent JD listing has provided some information about the device’s sale date.

According to the listing, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will be up for sale from April 3 at 10 AM GMT+8. This suggests that the smartphone will be officially launched before the mentioned date.

In terms of specifications, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is rumored to flaunt a 6.74-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset will be coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for seamless performance.

The device is anticipated to feature a triple-camera module, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling, there is likely to be a 16MP front-facing camera.

The phone is expected to pack a robust 5,500mAh battery, supporting lightning-fast 100W wired charging, which could be a significant selling point for the device.

In case you’re not up to speed, Redmi Note 12 Turbo is set to hit the market on March 28, and it’s being touted as the world’s first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. This marketing strategy could put pressure on Realme to launch its own Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 phone in a timely manner.

Considering this, it is highly likely that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will make its debut in the market between March 29 and April 2, in order to keep up with the competition.
