Red Magic 8 Pro Series Images and Key Specs revealed online

 

The gaming brand nubia is gearing up to launch the Red Magic Pro 8 series in China on December 26th at 3 pm local time. The lineup includes both the Pro and Pro+ variants, whose images and key specifications have surfaced online today. The Red Magic Pro 8 series appeared in leaked renders, revealed a big redesign with flat edges and remarkably thin bezels.

As you can see in the images, the Red Magic 8 Pro series has got a boxy form factor, and the volume rocker buttons placed on the left side, while the power key and red color slider are on the right edge of the smartphone. The images also reveal a triple camera setup along with an LED flash is stuffed vertically in a pill shaped module. There is a Red Magic branding on the middle left side and a logo at the bottom of the back panel.

On the front, there is an under-display selfie camera. It offers a newly developed BOE screen panel with aligned 1.48mm thick side bezels and is said to have a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. Both the Pro and Pro+ versions are confirmed to feature 120Hz refresh rate displays. The series of smartphones also will be having ultra-linear dual stereo speakers with Snapdragon sound, 96kHz lossless audio, and 48ms low latency. The Pro version comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro+ version will be backed up by a much bigger 6,000mAh cell, which has got 165W charging capability.

The source claims that the Red Magic 8 Pro series will be shipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage inside, and a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor. The series will be available in two designs- a standard version and a transparent version. You can expect nubia to reveal more about these smartphones in the lead-up to the December 26 event.
