Samsung Ativ Odyssey for Verizon Hitting Stores Today for $49

The Windows Phone 8 variant of the new Samsung Ativ Odyssey handset is set to hit the Verizon Wireless, which made official at CES event in Barcelona. The carrier has been offering the HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 822 WP8 handsets for a while now. The Big Red network has officially confirmed that starting today, January 24th, the Samsung Ativ Odyssey phone will be available in all retail stores across the U.S. The 16GB version will set you back $49.99 after $50 mail-in-rebate on a two-year contract with the carrier. The pricing isn’t bad compared to the Lumia 822, which is being offered for the same $50, while the carrier is charging $99 for the HTC 8X.

As a reminder, the Ativ Odyssey will feature:
