A first batch of official renders depicting the Galaxy M14 5G have popped up online. Some details on the Galaxy M14, started to leak late November last year, but then things got quiet for a while as focus shifted to the other affordable batch of the Galaxy A series of phones.
Three official renders of this handset have been revealed on Twitter by the popular leakster, @Slashleaks. Today’s leak has confirmed the Galaxy M14 handset’s color options and design language. Unsurprisingly, the phone seems to use similar design cues of the previous-gen Galaxy M13. It has a flat back panel and display, and three rear-facing cameras, each with its individual circular cutout placed in a vertical manner on the left top corner of the back side. There’s also an LED flash beside the first camera module.
The display has an infinity-V notch to align the front-facing camera. You can also observe the thicker chin at the bottom of the device. The volume rocker can be spotted in the left edge, and Samsung logo on the bottom of the rear panel.
The device has already appeared on FCC, and Bluetooth SIG platform, carrying the model number SM-M146B_DSN. According to the listing, the Galaxy M14 features Bluetooth 5.2, and it will support 15W charge speeds. A unit of this production has already appeared on Geekbench platform, confirming the presence of the Exynos 1330 chipset under the hood. The chipset’s primary core is clocked at 2.4GHz speed.
The source claims that the Galaxy M14 will reportedly sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720p resolution, along with a triple camera setup on the back, which is expected to consist a 48MP primary camera, along with an 8Mp camera, and a 2P camera module. On the front, you mat an 8 megapixel shooter for handling selfies and video chats.
The Galaxy M14 5G is expected to be fuelled by a 6,000mAh battery. The device comes preinstalled with Android 13 based One UI 5.0 out of the box, and it will be offered in different colors: Blue, Dark Blue, and Silver.
There is no word yet on the Galaxy M14 5G handset. Samsung as recently launched most good-looking ultra affordable Galaxy A14 5G handset in the US (for just $200) and India (for INR 16,499). We guess the Galaxy M14 may hit the markets for an even lower price than the Galaxy A14 5G. The phone may release in India and other markets as well very soon.
