So we’ve new Galaxy family from Samsung now. Samsung has just announced another four Galaxy handsets – Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 (We’ve been seeing this handset), Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660(hearing for the first time), Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 (previously known as Galaxy Suit) and Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570. Samsung is expected to unveil these four phones during next month’s Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona.
All these Galaxy handsets are running with Android 2.2 Froyo OS and are having TFT display for each phone, Social Hub, Swype integration, Wi-Fi connectivity, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity and so on. Samsung’s DNSe surround sound technology in headset mode is available on all GALAXY handsets, but the usual indigene DivX/Xvid support is missing from the new GALAXY family, which is easily solved by a simple app download from Android Market.

Samsung Galaxy Mini
Samsung GALAXY Mini is running with Android 2.2 Froyo on 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.14-inch QVGA TFT display, 3 Megapixel fixed-focus camera, TouchWiz interface, Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Social Hub, TouchWiz interface, Swype, document viewer.
Samsung GALAXY Mini should be available very immediately in India, European countries, China. Price details haven’t been announced yet.
Samsung Galaxy Gio
Samsung Galaxy Gio is going to have Android 2.2 Froyo with 800MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.2-inch HVGA TFT display, 3 Megapixel camera with Auto Focus, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, Social Hub, TouchWiz interface, Swype; document viewer/editor,
Samsung Galaxy Gio should be available soon in India, European countries, China. Price details haven’t been announced yet.
Samsung Galaxy Fit
Samsung Galaxy Fit is going to have Android 2.2 Froyo on 600MHz processor, 3.31-inch QVGA TFT display, 5 Megapixel camera with Autofocus, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, Social Hub, TouchWiz interface, Swype, document viewer.
Samsung Galaxy Fit will be available from February in Russia and later to follow India, European countries, and South America. Pricing information hasn’t been announced yet.
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Samsung Galaxy Ace is having Android 2.2 Froyo on 800MHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display, 5-megapixel camera with Autofocus, LED flash, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, Social Hub, TouchWiz interface, Swype; document viewer/editor.
Galaxy Ace is also sporting HSDPA 7.2Mbps, 2GB micro-SD card, micro-SD card slot for 32GB memory expansion, 150MB internal storage, 3G, DLNA, FM radio, Android Market, Samsung Apps. This handset would releasing as Galaxy Cooper in India.
