Just a few hours ago, Verizon has released the press release for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus stating that it will hit the markets later this year, but the release date and the price value details are missing from the press release. Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and it will support 4G LTE speeds of Big Red network. Verizon is also rumored to bring another LTE capable Android phone, HTC Rezound to its network. According to Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound (which is also known as HTC Vigor) are set to launch in early November. Yes, these handsets might be launching on November 10th and the price value of both of them show as $299.99.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be having 4.65” Super AMOLED HD display with 720 X 1280 pixels, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP ear & 1.3MP front cams, 1080p HD video capture, 1GB RAM and the most precious Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS locked inside it.
HTC Rezound runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, 4.3-inch 720p display, red accented spicey soft keys, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, VGA front camera, 1080p HD video capture, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, an SD card slot and much more.
So the most important device of the year, Samsung Galaxy Nexus is just 20 days away from its launch moment. Exciting? But the MAP list dates are always doubtful. So stay tuned.
