I’d say that pretty much confirms the previous reports. According to Verizon’s own roadmap, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be releasing via web only on November 21st. So the handset will be available online during the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday, that means we can expect to the handset to hit all the retail channels by November 24th. The same documents is also showing the listing of the new Motorola Xoom 2 series. The document is suggesting that Moto 10” Tablet aka Motorola Xoom 2 and Moto 8” Tablet aka Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition are launching on November 30th. There hasn’t been mentioned about the LTE capability of these two Motorola tablets. The doc has also listed the HTC Rezound for November 14th date and Motorola Droid Razr for November 11th date, that we already knew about.
Packed with a contour display (like the Nexus S) with an ultra-thin bezel and Hyperskin anti-slip coating, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus sports a 4.65″ 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, 5MP camera with 1080p video capture, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1750mAh battery. We already reported that the carrier will carry the 32GB variant of the Galaxy Nexus handset.
Both the Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition tablets have dual core 1.2GHz TI processors. Each feature a 5-megapixel main camera in addition to a 1.3-megapixel front-facer, equipped with 1GB of RAM, have 16GB internal flash storage, and both will arrive running Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. There is no word on a possible update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
