Samsung: Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus Lands In December

We all knew that the most awaited that Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset is coming to Verizon Wireless. But, Verizon has yet to reveal the exact release date of the handset. According to a report published by Business Insider, Samsung has reportedly confirmed the U.S. launch details of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset. According to the source, Galaxy Nexus will be landing in the U.S. by Verizon in December. The source couldn’t provide the release date and price tag information of the Galaxy Nexus handset. One of the previous leaks has been suggesting that Verizon may launch the Galaxy Nexus handset on December 8th.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS locked inside. Good thing is that we are hearing that Verizon will be carrying the 32GB variant of the Galaxy Nexus handset. Other features are including 4.65 Super AMOLED HD display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera to make video calls, 1080p HD video recording capability, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal memory storage, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE capability, Android Beam, NFC capability, 1750mAh battery, and many more.

The source has also confirmed that the unlocked GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus handset will be hitting the U.K. markets in next week.
