Head up MetroPCS customers. The carrier has just announced they will have the “nature-inspired“ Samsung Galaxy S III handset in the coming days. It will be available to purchase beginning on Monday. October 22nd for $499 plus tax. MetroPCS branded Galaxy S III will be served on carrier’s 4G LTE network. The carrier has noted that users can save between $1,200 and $2,000 over a two-year span by choosing one of their month-to-month plans, which fares $55 per month including unlimited talk, text, and 4G option or a basic LTE plan starting at $30. Users can also go with the regular 4G LTE plan starting at $30.

Samsung has confirmed the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will be rolled out for the U.S. based Galaxy S III handsets in the coming months. The manufacturer is already rolling out the JB update in Spain, Romania, Austria, Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Ireland.
