We are hardly three weeks ahead of MWC 2011, on February 13 and Samsung will be unveiling its successor of Galaxy S and we’ve been calling it as Galaxy S2 and it has been confirmed that a new Galaxy S is indeed coming.

But now according to a Korean website Nocutnews, Galaxy S2 might be come out with the codename Seine(named after a river in France). Samsung has already officially confirmed that it is going to announce it’s next-generation Galaxy S Android smartphone and sent out invitations to selected media outlets inviting them to a press event at MWC 2011 in Barcelona and they are stating it as “Something big is coming” with a tag line of “Evolution is Fate”.

Specs wise, the next generation Galaxy S will be having(according to the Korean site)

# 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display screen with 800×400 pixels res
# Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
# Dual Core Samsung Orion chipset
# 1GB RAM
# > 9mm in thickness.
# NFC chip(following the Google Nexus S trend)
# 8Megapixels rear HD camera
# Full 1080p HD video shooting capability.
# Personal Cloud Computing.

So, according to the above specs, Samsung Galaxy S sequel is looking to be more better than the current model. So hang on tight till Samsung officially announce it in next month. And yah, Samsung will release another teaser on February 1st.
