Samsung Galaxy Stellar May Hit Verizon For $99.99; Features “Starter Mode” and Amazon apps

We already reported about the possible price tags of the upcoming Motorola Droid M and LG Intuition handset for Verizon network. Motorola Droid M seems to be the mid-range spec’d Android handset, while the LG Intuition a beastly 5-inch Android is the Verizon’s version of the international LG Optimus Vu handset. One more Android phone is joining these handset to launch in the coming weeks: Samsung Galaxy Stellar. We once heard about the Galaxy Stellar handset, which showed up on a rebate form last month.

The folks over Droid-Life received a pricing card in the leaked image up above. As shown in the image, Verizon will charge $99.99 for the Samsung Galaxy Stellar handset on a two-year contract. $99 price tag is letting the Galaxy Stellar to aim at the low-to-mid range market. Its full retail price tag is $449.99.

There’s no word yet on what features the Samsung Galaxy Stellar will actually be sporting, but the leaked memo has mentioned some interesting information. According to the leak, the device has go 4G LTE radio inside and comes preinstalled with a set of Amazon apps, rather than the Google Play Store. No word hasn’t been mentioned about the Google Play Store. The Galaxy Stellar seems to be trying to distance itself from Google Suit of apps. The device is also said to be featuring the “Starter Mode” option. There’s no word yet on when the Samsung Galaxy Stellar handset will actually be hitting the stores. What do you think?
