The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which got huge attention last week when Google gaveaway limited editions of the tablet to all of the Google I/O 2011 developers conference, is now available for pre-order at J&R. The prices are same as what Samsung promised during the Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch in March: $499 for a 16GB model and $599 for the 32GB variant. Though the J&R pre-order page doesn’t say anything about the possible shipping date, we guess it should be ship by June 8th as per the previous reports about the release date.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will feature a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, running Android 3.1 Honeycomb, powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash (records 720p HD video), a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, 8.6mm thin design, 1080p HD video playback, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 21Mbps HSDPA radio, and a 6860mAh battery.
