After launching in mid-November of 2011 with Android 3.2 Honeycomb in tow, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet has been updated with Ice Cream Sandwich update in early July of 2012. Now, it took almost 8 months for Samsung to upgrade this device from ICS to Jelly Bean. According to the users from Austria, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi+3G edition (which bears the model number GT-P6200) is now being upgraded with Android Jelly Bean update. The firmware version also bumps up to XXMC3. The build date is March 25.
The latest firmware update will bump the one year old tablet up to Android version v4.1.2 Jelly Bean, bringing an all-around better experience. It comes with new goodies to play with. The important feature included in the new update are – Google Now, expandable/rich notifications, lock screen widgets, improved software keyboard, Project Butter and a number of improvements. You may also receive some Samsung-specific features, along with Jelly Bean goodies.
According to the reports, the update is rolling out over-the-air in phases. and the owners of the Tab 7.0 Plus should be seeing notifications on their device when the new software finally arrives on their device. If you own a Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus handy as your daily driver, and want to get Jelly Bean love on as soon as possible, can connect your device to Wi-Fi and head into Menu > Settings > About Tablet > Software update to manually check for Android 4.1.2 update.

Hi, I flashed my 7 plus tab with the Austrian firmware, everything is working fine, but there is an issue with overheating. So please be aware of this issue before you do the flashing. This might be a one off issue as well.
