First Look: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ Renders Leaked Online

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+

As the months progress, a growing number of leaks are surfacing, divulging information about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy devices, which offer a sneak peek into what we can expect from these devices prior to their official release. The latest leak comes from OnLeaks, a prominent source, who has unveiled the first visual of the Galaxy Tab S9 series, specifically the Galaxy Tab S9+.

Just a couple of hours ago, prominent leakers @OnLeaks and WolfOfTablet have unveiled a set of computer-aided design (CAD) renders that showcase the Galaxy Tab S9+ in intricate detail, giving us a sneak peek of the upcoming tablet’s design.

The newly leaked CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Tab S9+ show a design that bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S8, with a minor yet significant alteration. The tablet now boasts a dual-camera setup, sporting a design that Samsung initially introduced with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and subsequently brought to the rest of the Galaxy S23 series. The cameras are encased within their own module and feature a silver ring that adds to the tablet’s visual appeal. Furthermore, the dock for the S Pen, located beneath the cameras, appears to be more noticeable than in the previous model.

If the leaked information is accurate, the dimensions of the Galaxy Tab S9+ are expected to be similar to those of its predecessor. The tablet’s purported measurements are 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.64 mm, whereas the Tab S8+ measured 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm. Therefore, it appears that there won’t be any significant design changes, at least not visibly. However, it is worth noting that the tablet’s display is likely to measure 12.4 inches, which is a significant aspect of the device.

Galaxy Tab S9+ will be water and dust resistant

According to earlier leaks and rumors, the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets are anticipated to come with a notable design improvement, namely the integration of water and dust resistance. It is speculated that the tablets will be certified with IP67, which is slightly lower than Samsung’s high-end smartphones in terms of water resistance capability. Samsung tablet users have been eagerly waiting for this feature for quite some time, and it will be exciting to see how it performs in actual usage scenarios. One can only hope that this added functionality won’t come at a considerable cost increase.

In addition, the renders reveal that the Galaxy Tab S9+ will sport the same set of four speakers, USB-C port, and a set of pins for keyboard connectivity as its predecessor, the Tab S8+.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to feature the same custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as the Galaxy S23, which should provide a significant boost in processing power compared to its predecessors. Additionally, it has been rumored that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series will see a boost in battery life on at least one model

It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the latter half of the year. Unlike flagship smartphones, Samsung doesn’t follow a yearly launch cycle for its tablets.
