Samsung Germany has officially announced its new smartphone today in addition to its Xcover lineup of rugged phone, and it is the first rugged Galaxy variant, which is named as Samsung Galaxy Xcover. This handset comes with IP67 standard certification with resistance to full dust, shock, and water. The Galaxy Xcover can also be submerged in water up to 1m.

The details about the processor, RAM, and battery capacity have still yet to be revealed out. The Samsung Galaxy Xcover is set to be arriving in October in Germany. There is no official word on price though.
