Samsung Omnia 7 Spotted Running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Build 7720 RTM

Well this is quite a surprise and joy filled moment for Windows Phone fans! It looks like the owners of Samsung Omnia 7 might get the leaked ROM version of the Windows Phone Mango OS to taste their handsets in the near future. In late July, Microsoft’s Windows Phone Mango Build 7712 sent to developers. But, this is not the final RTM gold master version of Mango. Microsoft has already released Windows Phone Mango Build 7720 to the handsets manufacturers, and the same build version will be implemented in the final RTM version of Mango, when it will be launched. An image of the Samsung Omnia 7 handset has leaked online, which shows the WP7 Mango version number as 7220.

We are not sure whether or not this image is original, as the picture cannot be verified. But we can say that the Omnia 7 will get updated to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. Microsoft is putting a lot of effort in keeping Windows Phone in the race with subsequent updates adding new features. Microsoft’s new Windows Phone Mango update is expected to begin rolling out this fall, but some trusted reports are saying that the Redmond company is working on the next updates, codenamed “Tango” and “Apollo,” which will eventually follow the release of Mango. According to the sources, the Tango version is said to be filled on “lower price point” devices
