Just a day (May 8, 2011) after the release of Samsung Replenish for Sprint, we are having a maintenance software update. Sprint website has posted a new release notes saying that a new software version S:M580.0.6x.ED23 available for download.
The OTA maintenance update is coming up with few performance improvements like making LED notification blink to show a missed call alert, improved performance in roaming area, security improvements and a fix for faulty Bluetooth email sync functionality.
The update will be rolled out to all the devices in stages to cover 100% devices within 4 days of the official launch of the phone. Installing update on your Replenish will only take 5 minutes. To check for update (if you haven’t got one already), go to Menu –> Settings –> About phone –> Update System Software and then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the OTA update.

Samsung Replenish was not the only phone to receive a maintenance software update just after the official release on Sprint. Sprint’s Nexus S 4G too, got a similar maintenance update soon after the release.
