Android’s Skype client just gave itself a notable update, officially bringing a set of improvements and an important feature for the Android platform. The new Skype version, v2.6 lets the Android users to send photos and videos to their contacts. Skype 2.6 is also carrying the battery life improvisations and video quality improvisations. With the help of a little arrow button on the top right side of the app home screen, users can sign out easily and quickly.
Skype says that the yet-to-be announced Motorola Droid 4 handset is the new addition to the list of the devices, which have support for video support, including the T-Mobile branded HTC Amaze 4G and the Verizon branded slimmest Motorola Droid RAZR handsets. Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola XOOM and Acer Iconia Tablets (running Nvidia Tegra 2 processors) now can take full advantage of the big screen with better video quality than ever before.
