Sony Unveils WF-C700N: The Newest Addition to Its Noise Canceling TWS Earbuds Lineup

As we predicted earlier, Sony unveiled its newest additions to its audio lineup today with the introduction of the WF-C700N wireless earbuds and a fresh Midnight Blue colorway for the company’s premium noise-canceling WH-1000XM5 headphones.

Sony WF-C700N features noise-canceling technology and a compact, comfortable design that’s ideal for all-day wear. These earbuds are perfect for those who are looking to buy their first noise-canceling earbuds.

In designing the WF-C700N earbuds, Sony has given special attention to ensuring that they offer maximum comfort and stability. The earbuds have been designed to match the shape of the human ear, using extensive data that has been collected since 1982. The surface design also ensures a secure fit, so users can enjoy their music without worrying about the earbuds slipping out.

The WF-C700N earbuds come in four different colors: black, white, lavender, and sage green. Each color has a luxurious geometric pattern, adding an extra touch of elegance to these already stylish earbuds. The charging case, which is cylindrical in shape, is small and portable, making it easy to carry around.

In addition to the noise-canceling feature, the WF-C700N earbuds also have an Ambient Sound Mode that allows you to enhance or reduce background noise as per your preference. The Sony Headphones Connect app provides personalization options such as Focus on Voice and Adaptive Sound Control, which offer a tailored listening experience. The WF-C700N earbuds are equipped with a 5mm driver unit and DSEE, providing high-quality sound with powerful bass and clear vocals.

The WF-C700N earbuds have a long battery life of up to 15 hours, are IPX4 water-resistant, and feature Multipoint connection, allowing pairing with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Additionally, the Wind Noise Reduction Structure ensures reliable call quality, even on windy days.

Sony’s WF-C700N true wireless earbuds feature an ultra-lightweight design, weighing only 4.6 grams per earbud, and use Bluetooth 5.2 with support for SBC and AAC codecs. In addition, users can expect multi-point pairing, which will be available through a software update later this summer.

These earbuds also come with a variety of features including 360 Reality Audio spatial audio, DSEE sound upscaling, and an equalizer that can be fine-tuned using the Headphones Connect app. Physical buttons on each earbud offer programmable single, double, and hold taps for customized control.

According to Sony, the WF-C700N earbuds offer up to 7.5 hours of continuous playback with active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled and up to 10 hours with it disabled. Additionally, the 300 mAh charging case can provide an extra 15 hours of battery life with ANC on and 20 hours with it turned off.
