Sony’s yet-to-be-released wireless earbuds, the WF-C700N, have been the subject of leaks since the beginning of the year. Recently, images of the earbuds in all available colors and detailed specifications were leaked. Earlier, we reported on the upcoming Sony WF-C700 wireless earbuds and the introduction of a new blue color variant for the popular Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones.

The WF-C700N will be available in black, white, green, and purple, with a sleek and lightweight design, weighing in at just 4.6g. The earbud case is only 41g and contains a 300mAh battery, which can be charged using a USB-C port.

The battery life of the WF-C700N is impressive, lasting up to 7.5 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) turned on and 10 hours with ANC turned off. The earbuds can last up to 15 hours with ANC on and 20 hours with ANC off when the case’s battery is included.

The WF-C700N features small 5mm driver units with a frequency range of 20-20,000 Hz, similar to other Sony wireless headphones, and supports DSEE technology. The earbuds also support ambient noise mode, allowing external noise to pass through, and are compatible with 360 Reality Audio.

The earbuds connect via Bluetooth 5.2 and are expected to be priced around 120 euros, making them the most affordable fully wireless earbuds with noise cancellation from Sony. The WF-C700N is the successor to Sony’s WF-C500, released in 2021.
