The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is already listed on Sony UK’s store and the manufacturer has started accepting pre-order for the device in three variants. Now, in the region, two other smartphones from Sony is available for pre-order. The two devices are the Sony Xperia L and Xperia SP which were recently announced by the Japanese manufacturer.
Sony Xperia SP is Sony’s latest mid-range smartphone which is powered by Google’s Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. It sports 8MP Exmor RS rear-facing camera and supports LTE connectivity. The Xperia SP is up for preorder at £314.40 inc. VAT (US$ 479) via online retailer, Handtec.
In addition to the Sony Xperia SP, another online retailer Clove is taking pre-order for the Xperia L at £195 (US$ 296). The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.3-inch FWVGA display and 8MP Exmor RS camera. The smartphone is very similar to the Xperia Arc series.
Coming to the availability of the devices, the Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L are expected to be hitting the stores in May and April respectively.
Even though these smartphones are ready to hit the markets for the region as of now, there is no news of availability in other markets.
