# After the completing the Asphalt 5 installation, previous game play data (ex. levels) will not be retained.
We are not hearing any sings about the Carrier IQ removal for the Samsung Epic 4G handset as of now.
Samsung Spic 4G handsets users should be seeing the notification alerts on their handset asking you to install it. If the update fails to make its way to your handset, you can force the update by heading over to Home Screen –> Menu –> Settings –> About phone –> tap System updates –> and hit Update Android button –> If the update is available –> Update will be downloaded automatically –> Follow the on-screen instructions and let the upgrade process finishes successfully. That’s it. Your handset will be successfully upgraded to EL30 software version.
