Today, wireless carrier T-Mobile has confirmed the date when the customers will be able to pickup the awaited smartphone, LG Optimus L9. The carrier has announced that the LG Optimus L9 is set to be stocked on-store shelves beginning October 31, for $79.99 with Classic plans.
Few weeks ago, we heard a wide range of rumors regarding leaked images of LG Optimus L9 and T-Mobile’s leaked roadmap screenshot. At that time, it was confirmed that the LG Optimus L9 will be rolling out on T-Mobile but the availability of this smartphone was unavailable from both LG and T-Mobile. In addition, the leaked roadmap screenshot suggested that T-Mobile will have a relatively release dates for many devices including the rumored LG Optimus L9. It showed the device will be released on October 31.
T-Mobile and LG have teamed up to bring the LG Optimus L9, the latest in the style-focused L-series of smartphones from LG. Optimus L9 is expected to pack with Android 4.0 (ICS) on a 4.5-inch HD display using T-Mobile’s 4G network speeds.Other features of the Optimus L9 include 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, and a long life 2150mAh battery.
Starting from October 31, the smartphone will be available for just $79.99 after a mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract on T-Mobile carrier. Alternatively, T-Mobile is also offering to get this device for $49.99 with their equipment installment plan with 20 equal payments of $15 per month. If the official T-Mobile price doesn’t suit your fancy, there’s always the anticipated $0.97 deal from Walmart retailer.
