T-Mobile’s Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G For Hitting On Oct.12th For $229.99 and $259.99

Are you eagerly looking out for T-Mobile’s exclusive Samsung Galaxy S II variant, which has been officially announced by the carrier in late August, but the carrier didn’t provide the launch date and the price info of the handset at that time. T-Mobile is also set to launch the HTC Amaze 4G (formerly known as HTC Ruby). A few hours ago, we reported about the leaked press shot of the HTC Amaze 4G handset. Well, T-Mobile USA Chief Marketing Officer, Cole Brodman, at its GigaOm Mobilize 2011 keynote event, has announced the release date price tag information of these both these handsets. Both the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Amaze 4G handset will be hitting the T-Mobile markets beginning October 12th for $229.99 and $259.99 respectively and the buyers should be signing a two-year contract with the carrier, while purchasing any one of these handsets.

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S II

Packed with a 1.5GHz (bumped from 1.2GHz) dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor with 1GB of RAM, a bigger 4.52″ WVGA Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution. The rear camera takes 1080p HD videos and 8MP photos, and you’ll have a 2MP shooter up front. In terms of radios, it packs HSPA+ connectivity (42Mbps 4G network), Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM Radio, T-Mobile TV app, Samsung Media Hub and DLNA support. The device comes with about 16GB of built-in memory storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card, NFC enabled, HDMI-out, and Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
