Motorola has just started rolling out a firmware update 1.1.30 for the T-Mobile branded Motorola CLIQ 2 handset. The update will bring several improvements, enhancements, new Exchange security features, addition of a number of new apps, along with some bug fixes.
Changes After Updating To 1.1.30 Software Update:
# Enhanced device and SD card encryption capabilities.
# New password management functionality added.
# Loading speed of widgets and wallpapers improved.
# Addition of new Lookout, Mobi TV, Motorola’s Family Room, and UNO Apps.
# Improved battery life while using Wi-Fi and Google Maps.
# Audio Postcard, AppPack, Wi-Fi Calling Apps has been updated.
# Motorola CLIQ 2 handset won’t be freezing and programs shouldn’t be closing randomly.
# Enhanced network location accuracy for Wi-Fi calling.
# Bettered accuracy of virtual keyboard haptic feedback.
How To Download
Motorola Cliq 2 owners will be getting notification on their handsets or else users should head over to Menu –> Settings –> About Phone –> System Updates –> Download –> Tap Install –> Installation should begin now –> Phone will reboot –> Done – CLIQ 2 will be updated to software v1.1.30. Please note that the battery of the handset should be charged to 50% at least with an active SIM card inserted inside and should be connected to a Wi-Fi connection before updating it to the latest software.
