Alibaba’s Aliyun Mobile OS counters Qihoo 360 as both seeks Device partners

Alibaba & Qihoo are on competition to look greater partnership with mobile manufacturers, so that the manufacturers launch their phone with their respective mobile OS. Alibaba gained upper hand as Qihoo looks on the southern city of Shenzhen.

Alibaba stated the company sympathizes with its partner (Acer) and referred to Google’s move as “regretful.” Alibaba group spent about three years developing Aliyun, which the company announced in July 2011. Google stated that OHA members should be compatible.
