The Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Verizon branded Motorola Droid Pro, Droid 2, Droid 2 Global and Droid X will soon be rolled out according to a reply from a Motorola employee in the support forum. The GB update will fix the Exchange ActiveSync issue found in the current build.

Samsung has officially announced the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update roll out to Galaxy S series mobile phones, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Ace, Geo, Fit and Galaxy Mini mobile phone models. The update will start in mid-May 2011.
