Toshiba Thrive 7” Tablet Coming In Mid November: Official

Are you looking for a new 7-inch Honeycomb OS powered tablet and got bored of hearing news about the 10.1-inch displays equipped tablets? Well, you will finally see a set of 7-inch Android tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Huawei MediaPad and etc.) to choose for before this year is out. Toshiba has spilled the beans about its upcoming Thrive 7-inch tablet, which is a smaller variant of the original 10-inch Thrive tablet. It looks like, Toshiba has definitely learned from its previous mistakes. Carl Pinto, Vice President of product development has described the Toshiba Thrive 7” tablet as “a seven inch tablet done right,” with an HD display and an “incredibly portable” design. Specs wise and design wise, it looks similar to the original Thrive tablet, but the manufacturer has eliminated the full-sized ports for the 7-inch Thrive tablet.

Toshiba is yet to announce the release date and price tag information for its Thrive 7” variant. It will be available to purchase in mid-November and according to the sources, it should be priced “under $400”.

  1. Price is good but is not it so thick?

    8 GB will not be enough for many users I think, I would go for 16.

    The competitors are so strong, I do not know if it will be able to fight.
