Verizon Nokia PureView Windows Phone Rumors

If the latest report is to be believed, Verizon is gearing up to lauinch a high-end spec’d Nokia-made Windows Phone in the coming months. According to the Microsoft leaker MSNerd, Nokia will build a new Windows Phone with the new version of the Windows Phone OS 8 – Apollo.

MSNerd is also claiming that Verizon branded Nokia Windows Phone will be equipped with the PureView Pro camera technology, which was implemented in the Symbian OS powered 41MP Sensor Nokia 808 PureView handset and it will use the 12MP camera with 1/1.83″ sensor of the Nokia N8 handset. It is expected to sport a ClearBlack display with HD resolution of 1280 X 720p resolution, powered by a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor, 4G LTE connectivity. According to the source, this handset should be launched by Verizon in this fall. A couple of days ago, we’ve talked about the leaked slides of an announced and mysterious Nokia Lumia Windows Phone.

The source has also mentioned that Sprint will carry a 4-inch display equipped Nokia Windows Phone with a sliding out QWERTY keybaord and it will sport 480 X 800 pixels of resolution. MSNerd is also claiming that Asus and Lenovo will launch Windows Phones this falls and we can also expect to see Windows 8 tablets with ARM chipsets from the both these manufacturers in the near future, while T-Mobile will get an HTC handset and a couple of Samsung Windows Phones will be launched by AT&T.
