In the meantime, tech tipster Ishan Agarwal has teamed up with 91mobiles to leak the key specifications of the Vivo Pad 2, and has also provided a sneak peek of the device’s three color variants. This leak has added to the excitement surrounding the launch of the Vivo Pad 2.
According to the Vivo Pad 2 renders, the tablet will feature a circular camera module on the back that houses two cameras and an LED flash. The device will be available in three color options: gray, blue, and purple. Due to the larger screen size compared to its predecessor, the new Vivo Pad has a wider design. This has resulted in Vivo changing the orientation of their logo and repositioning the pogo pins on the new model.
The Vivo Pad 2 is reported to come with a 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers a high resolution of 2.8K and a speedy refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Under the hood, it will be backed up by the Dimensity 9000 chipset and a robust 10,000mAh battery that supports fast charging of up to 44W.
The Vivo Pad 2 is expected to launch with two variants of LPDDR5 RAM: 8 GB and 12 GB. It will also be available in three storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB, all using UFS 3.1 technology. The tablet is anticipated to run on the Android 13 operating system along with OriginOS 3 for Pad.
In addition to its impressive display and powerful chipset, the Vivo Pad 2 will also come equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back, featuring a 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
