Vivo announced its latest affordable smartphone models, the Vivo S16e, Vivo S16, and Vivo S16 Pro, in December 2022. Initially launched in China, the Vivo S16 Pro was released globally, including in India, as the Vivo V27 Pro. Recently, an insider named Paras Guglani shared exclusive information with TheTechOutlook media outlet about the upcoming Vivo S17 series, which is expected to be available in China in the coming months.

The Vivo S17 lineup is likely to comprise several models, including the Vivo S17, Vivo S17 Pro, and Vivo S17e. While Vivo has not disclosed any official information about the devices’ model numbers and configurations, industry experts speculate that each model could feature a different set of specifications and price points.
As per the latest report, the upcoming Vivo S17 series is expected to include three smartphones, each with its own unique features and specifications. Here are the anticipated devices and their model numbers:

As previously mentioned, Vivo has a history of rebranding its devices for different markets. The Vivo S16 Pro, S16, and S16e were rebranded as the Vivo V27 Pro, V27, and V27e for global markets, respectively, so it’s possible that the Vivo S17 series could be rebranded as the Vivo V28 series outside of China. However, there’s no official confirmation from Vivo regarding the rebranding of the Vivo S17 series yet.

The S17 series is expected to succeed the Vivo S16, S16 Pro, and S16e, which were launched in December 2022.
