vivo X Fold+ images appear on China’s TENAA

vivo is planning to announce its next generation fold device in the near future. A couple of days ago, we’ve also seen the vivo X Fold+ was just certified for sale in China by TENAA. Now the phone has been certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The phone appears with the model number V2229A.

China’s TENAA has also published some images of the new vivo foldable flagship phone showing it in black colorway. The device seems to have same design of the last year’s vivo X Fold handset. Recent reports have revealed that vivo X Fold+ will have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, while previous generation X Fold had Snapdragon 8 Gen. TENAA certification has also confirmed that the X Fold+ gets fueled by a 4,600mAh battery (a combination of two 2,300mAh batteries.) with 80W charging capacity.

Apart from this, the handset’s others are including a 6.53″ FHD+ AMOLED outer display paired with a 8.03″ LTPO AMOLED inner display with 1916 x 2160 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has Zeiss branded 50MP main camera coupled with 48MP ultra wide sensor, 12MP portrait camera and a 8-megapixel periscope camera. We will learn more details about the vivo’s next foldable smartphone in the coming days.
