Less than a month ago, Vizio has launched its first Android tablet. now, the reports over the internet are saying that there is a minor firmware update is being rolled out for this tablet. The new software update carries the version number “V.I.A. Plus 1.2”. As it is a minor update, you should not expect to get Honeycomb love from this new update. After finished installing the latest firmware update, you will notice the some enhancements to take place. You can find the full list of improvements below.

All in all it sounds like a pretty good update for all of the Vizio tablet users out there who have been experiencing some issues with VIA software.

Users of the Vizio 8” tablet’s users should be seeing the notification at any time on the screen panels alerting them to accept the update and to tap “OK” button. If you haven’t yet received any updates, you can perform a manual check to track any new updates by heading over to Menu –> Settings –> About Tablet –> System Updates –> and tap Install Now button –> Reboot.
This process should initiate the latest software upgrade process of the new firmware update and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the update process. Don’t panic, if the update doesn’t hit your tablet in the first try, you’ll probably receive it in the next few hours.
