Motorola has officially announced that the Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom will be available for purchase in the U.S. from March 27th, with a price tag of $599, with the available 32GB memory storage. We’ve already reported you that the Wi-Fi only Xoom is available for pre-order at B&H stores.
Wi-Fi Only Motorola Xoom variant can be grabbed at Amazon.com, RadioShack, select Sam’s Club locations, Best Buy, Costco, Staples and Walmart retail stores. Back in February, on 24th, the 3G variant-Motorola Xoom launched on Verizon, costing $599.99 with a two-year service contract or $799.99 without a contract.
Motorola Xoom is the first tablet to run with Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, sporting a 10.1 inches HD display with 1280 x 800 resolution, equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, full 1080p HD support with HDMI-out port and full host of Google services, Android Market, micro-SD card slot support for memory expansion, Barometer support, beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10.2, and more.
