Xiaomi’s highly anticipated flagship model, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, is set to be unveiled in China in the near future. The device has been spotted on several regulatory platforms, which have revealed some of its key specifications. However, it appears that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra won’t be the sole product the company will unveil at the upcoming event. Reports suggest that Xiaomi is also planning to launch the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, which will include two different devices: the Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets are rumored to feature sleek metal bodies and minimal bezels surrounding the displays, akin to their predecessors from the Pad 5 series. These tablets are expected to showcase LCD panels with an impressive resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, accompanied by refresh rates of up to 120Hz, which would provide a smooth and seamless user experience.

On the other hand, the higher-end variant, the Pad 6 Pro, is speculated to incorporate an advanced OLED display that would enhance the contrast and color accuracy, resulting in an immersive visual treat.

It is highly probable that the tablets will be equipped with powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, potentially the Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 888 for the standard Pad 6 variant and the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 for the more advanced Pad 6 Pro model. Additionally, these tablets are expected to boast ample memory and storage capacities, with the possibility of including up to 8GB of RAM and a generous internal storage capacity of up to 256GB.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets are speculated to feature an eight-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup with a primary sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens, which will allow users to capture stunning photos and videos. To deliver a rich and immersive audio experience, the tablets may also include quad speakers that are expertly tuned by Harman Kardon.

Connectivity-wise, the tablets are expected to offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for easy and secure access to the device.

It is reported that the Xiaomi keyboard is intended for use with the Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablet, and will be compatible with the device. The keyboard has a sleek and minimalist design, featuring a black and blue color scheme. Additionally, it is equipped with an NFC sensor, which allows users to share their smartphone screen and transfer various files.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra already spotted on TENAA is likely to feature a 6.73-inch E6 AMOLED curved-edge display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and up to 16GB RAM. It may have a 32MP front-facing camera and a quad-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor. The device is expected to run MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS.

According to reports, Xiaomi is planning to launch the highly anticipated Pad 6 series tablets in the first half of 2023, which is expected to coincide with the release of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Xiaomiui, a reliable source, has claimed that the two devices will be launched simultaneously. However, it is worth noting that the more advanced Pad 6 Pro variant may only be available in China. According to a trustworthy tipster, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to launch globally in May 2023.

While the official pricing for these tablets has not been disclosed yet, Xiaomi is known for offering competitive prices, so the Pad 6 series tablets are expected to be priced competitively with other Android tablets currently available in the market.
