ZTE Axon 30S with underneath display camera debuting on Sep 26

ZTE is preparing to release its new smartphone in the coming days at an event in China. The product will be called as ZTE Axon 30S. The manufacturer has started teasing the device ahead of the launch. They have confirmed ZTE Axon 30S will be unveiled on September 26.

ZTE hasn’t revealed if they have any plans to launch this phone outside the China. The company has teased the display and the form factor of the handset. Features wise, invitation poster is hinting us Axon 30S will be sporting an under display camera. That means there is no notch, no waterdrop notch, no Apple inspired pill shaped cutout in center of the screen.

The Axon 30S is expected to measure 7.8 in thickness and it weighs around 192g. Front-facing selfie camera will placed under the display. As we can not spot a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the sides of the device in the marketing images, we safely assume that the biometric fingerprint sensor will also be integrated underneath the screen. That’s it! Just a plain screen.
